01 — About
A little background
I'm an Assistant Programmer at Sonali Bank PLC, working with the SOC VAPT Team under the Information Security, IT Risk Management & Fraud Control Division. I perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) on internally developed and production services, focusing on web applications, APIs, and infrastructure using tools such as Burp Suite and Tenable.
Previously, I worked as a Software Engineer at WeDevs, building custom WordPress plugins and Shopify applications. I also spent ~3 years at RedDot Digital Limited, a Robi Axiata subsidiary, where I developed backend modules and modernized legacy PHP systems using Laravel. Before that, I served as a Lecturer at BAUET, teaching Operating Systems and mentoring student technical clubs.
I'm currently pursuing an Executive Masters in IT at the University of Dhaka and have co-authored a peer-reviewed research paper on machine-learning approaches for Parkinson's disease diagnosis, published in the Expert Systems journal.
I'm also a long-time competitive programmer, having solved 1,200+ problems across online judges, with top placements at the ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional and Meta Hacker Cup.
